AI agents
Systems that understand a request, decide what to do and get it done with each business’s own tools. We design them to measure, with clear limits and under human control.
What it is
It understands, decides and acts.
An AI agent receives a request in natural language, understands what is needed and gets it done: it looks up data, uses the business’s tools and completes the task, or leaves it ready for a person to confirm.
A chat answers questions. An agent works inside the company’s processes, with rules that define what it can and cannot do.
For any business
Every business has tasks that repeat themselves and eat up its team’s hours. That is where a well-designed agent pays off.
Customer service and sales
Answers inquiries at any hour, understands what each customer is looking for and puts together quotes.
Operations
Enters orders, coordinates appointments and deliveries, and keeps management systems up to date.
Administration
Reads, sorts and reconciles invoices, contracts and emails, and flags anything that doesn’t add up.
Analysis
Gathers data from different sources and prepares reports for informed decisions.
Implementation
Doing it right takes time.
Hooking a language model up to a chat takes an afternoon. Getting an agent to perform well, every day and with real customers, takes a lot more: understanding the process and its exceptions, connecting the right data, defining what it may do and testing it before it talks to anyone.
That is why we work with the same method as in everything we build: first we understand the business, then we design the agent.
When it’s implemented well
An agent like that improves how the company and the business run.
Instant answers
Responds after hours and without waiting times, with the same judgment in every case.
Focused teams
People leave repetitive tasks behind and focus on what calls for their judgment.
Consistent processes
Every case follows the same rules and is documented.
Information for decisions
Every interaction leaves data on what is asked for, what sells and where the process gets stuck.
Control
Autonomy, within limits.
An agent acts autonomously only within what it is allowed to do. Those limits are defined with the same rigor as the rest of the system.
- 01
Guardrails
We rigorously define which topics it handles, what it can say and what it cannot. Critical rules are enforced in code, not only in the model’s instructions.
- 02
Permissions
Each agent can reach only the systems and actions its task needs, with usage caps and validation of every piece of data that goes in or out.
- 03
A person on what matters
Actions with a high impact on the business are always carried out by a person. The agent prepares and proposes; when in doubt or when something fails, it hands the case over.
Observation
Everything is logged.
Every operation an agent performs is observed and logged. That log is the basis for improving it over time and making it more efficient for the business.
- 01
Observe
Every request is logged, along with each tool it used, what it answered, what it cost and whether a person stepped in.
- 02
Measure
With those logs, and with tests on real and simulated cases, we measure where it gets things right and where it fails.
- 03
Adjust
We correct rules, data and instructions, and measure again before every change.
An example
An agent for travel.
We developed an agent for travel agencies. It chats on WhatsApp with people who want to travel, understands what they are looking for and quotes what they ask for. When the person is ready to move forward, the case goes to one of the agency’s advisors.
- 01
Conversation
It asks what it needs to know: origin, destination, dates, who is traveling and what kind of trip they want. It understands text messages and voice notes.
- 02
Search
It checks different sources for flights, hotels, packages, tours, cruises, activities, car rentals and transfers.
- 03
Quote
It picks the best options and puts the proposal together. Prices are shown exactly as they come from the source, with the date and time they were checked.
- 04
Advisor
With the person’s consent, the case goes to an advisor, who sees the conversation and the quote, and takes care of booking and payment.
What the agency gains
The agent handles the part that takes the most time, and the advisors close the sale.
Hours of work saved
Every quote means asking, searching several sources, comparing and putting the proposal together. The agent does it in minutes and saves the team hours of work.
Filtered inquiries
It handles every inquiry and filters them: only people interested in buying reach an advisor, with the trip defined and the quote ready.
How it is controlled
- Prices are not written by the model: a filter in the code blocks any figure that does not come from the source.
- It only talks about travel. On any other topic, it replies that it cannot help.
- It does not book, issue tickets or take payments: a person at the agency does that.
- The case goes to an advisor only with the person’s consent.
- When something fails or it is unsure, it does not improvise: it hands the case to an advisor.
- Every turn is logged: what it searched for, what it found and what it cost.
- It is validated with simulated conversations and success criteria set before each test.
